If you're playing a serious game, then I think it could be a sport. But I never play serious. I just play for fun and I don't care about winning or not, I'm just having a good time. I like to play the best when I drink a little bit...It makes it more interesting!!! HAHAHA!!!

Is ping-pong a sport? Synchronized swimming? What about pitching horse shoes?

Could it just be a game?

There are plenty of video games that require all of these things. Yet I wouldn't exactly call gaming a sport.

Same goes for chess, with the exception of the hand-eye coordination thingy.

Any activity that can be mastered by a fat slob is not a sport.

Come on, competitive eating, now that's a sport that takes great skill and peak physical conditioning! Go, Joey Chestnut!

It doesn't count as a sport if 60 year olds can do it and do it well.

Then by your definition, auto racing is not a sport...since it doesn't take athletic ability...but it does take skill.

Which I agree with, by the way.

That's not necessarily true.....if that was the case, then football would not be a sport. Have you seen any offensive linemen lately?
