I agree with all of these, especially Birmingham. That would be cool.

Does Birmingham have an NFL ready venue, or plan to build one in the future?

They already have Legion Field which has NFL-size capacity. Birmingham economically makes the most sense for the NFL and an NFC South affiliation would be perfect. However another city would probably have to be added to the AFC for balance purposes.

Everyone likes to talk Las Vegas, but you're looking at another largely non-loyal Florida-style fanbase. Too many recreational diversions to compete.

I can see a Louisville franchise doing well economically in the AFC South, and a great rivalry with the Colts.

Legion Field is not NFL ready by any definition.

If there was an NFL team in Las Vegas, there would be sell-outs every weekend much like there is with NASCAR. You would be having a good number of people driving in from SoCal and other parts of the west for the weekend. After all, you are looking at filling a stadium ONLY 10 times a year.

Baseball would be a lot more problematic.

Whether the NFl is ready to have a team in a gambling center is a different issue.

Huh. Indianapolis would get one decades before Des Moines ever would.

Kansas City needs an NBA or NHL team.

Salt Lake City needs an NHL team.

Portland, OR needs an NHL or MLB team.
