If you like to eat out, it seems as though there are more restaurants than people. Don't get me wrong, I have family in Springfield, and I enjoy spending time there. I just feel like there is a huge number of restaurants for the population. How do they all stay in business?

I've wondered that myself.

They're busy, too! I think someone mentioned that Springfield restaurants draw customers from many neighboring towns on weekends.

I did my share to keep the Chinese take-out places in business when I was a unaffluent college student. $2.99 Cashew Chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. I loved that stuff! Maybe it was so cheap because of the massive competition.

Actually Branson is great, however Springfield has a bigger variety of restaurants, more pretty women and I always shop there on weekends. Better bargains on big ticket items and more gourmet food for sale.
