Hi all, I' am a MO. native and when I traveled through Branson last week, I noticed that the pop. on the city limit sign said 10,100. However, based on my drive through the area, it seemed MUCH bigger than that. Also, neighboring Branson West (which was hardly a town when me and my family used to go to Silver Dollar City in the 90's when I was little) seems to be MUCH bigger than the "408" that it says on the pop. on the city limit sign. Are these areas indeed bigger or are the signs about right?

Signs were recently changed so about right. Branson , out of season, is really a relatively small town. It's the 8,000,000 tourists a year that make it seem bigger. But alas, the area is growing.

50,000 people a day during tourist season is the population of Branson. 10,000 is the permanent year round residents that live there.
