WOW. Did anyone hear about the cop in Lebanon who shot at a moving vehicle, barely missing a baby but hitting it's mother. Granted the driver was a POS but the woman was a passenger. Now this happened in April but they just now disclosed it because it leaked. The cop who did it admitted he was trying to kill them. Beware, beware!!!!!!! I've known about it for a little while now but it is finally hitting the news. I'm telling you, from experience, I am more afraid of the corrupt cops in this state than the criminals!!!!!!!!! From now on i'm carrying a video recorder.

Calm down every state no matter where you live has good and bad. This is not new news. This is an imperfect world, with imperfect people. There are individuals with or without authority that behave poorly and have bad judgement. We wouldn't want to make a blank statement that classifies everyone even those in authority as bad. Carry a video recorder with you, if you feel it is necessary, lets not resort to scare tactics, causing individuals to be afraid of the police.

I have found that since I've grown up and am no longer out looking for trouble all of my experiances with law enforcement have been positive. When I was younger I got in the same stupid trouble that alot of kids do, however I was brought up to respect the police and even as a young punk I did respect them. Now, I'm not to sure about the story your talking about, but I imagine that if the guy would have pulled over the officer would not have fired his weapon. Police Officers have a difficult and demanding job, it seems that more and more of today's society makes the cops out to be the bad guys, they aren't, they are the good guys for the most part....

I agree with SKEATING I think u are over reacting. This may be (IF ANY) one officer. Ill take the cops any day over the thugs that are out there. Take my advice have yourself a little glass of sherry and calm down.

I didn't tell the whole story. Sorry. I do respect the law also. This particular cop admitted he was just looking to kill someone. I agree all cops are not bad but the bad ones are numerous around here.
