Hello! Does anyone have any recomendations for a 2 night getaway for a couple in the Springfield area? Maybe cabins, hotels, any kind of cool towns or places to see? Thanks for the information.
Jason

Default Branson. Of course.

My top personal pick would have to be a weekend at a B&B in the Branson area...go to Silver Dollar City, see a show, shop, take a boat ride...maybe ride the little scenic train from the Branson Landing.

Big Cedar definitely rocks.

The Chateau if you like something more sophisticated.

B&B's anytime.

Default My personal favorite!

The most romantic getaway I've ever had was in Eureka Springs, AR at The Treehouse Cottages! They are really great people (and Potters!) Check out their site @ http://www.treehousecottages.com/
Eureka also has great shopping and restaurants! Lots of historical buildings and Hotels as well. http://www.eurekasprings.com/

Have fun, wherever you go!!http://bestsmileys.com/love1/6.gif (broken link)

Default Treehouse Cottages...I wanna go back!!

Yes, we stayed in the Cedar Shade Cottage. It was gorgeous and we had a blast. The owners put homemade bread, champagne and chocolates in the fridge for us because it was our anniversary. I think they like for you to stay 2 nights, unless there is a single opening. All the available dates are listed on their website. I suggest calling early. They are pretty popular and book up quick! The jacuzzi tub was way cool as well as the landscaped grounds and waterfalls. They had a clawfoot tub in the batheroom, too. Lots of fun stuff to do within walking distance. I highly recommend it!!

Thanks everyone! We did end up going to Eureka Springs! What a neat little town. We stayed at the Crescent for the first night. The next night we stayed at the Treehouse Cottages. That was one of the greatest places we have ever been! We had such a blast watching the deer and squirrels play below. It was totally relaxing! Thanks for the great find! We definitely want to go back in the spring.
