As my husband and I continue to research the Springfield/Branson area for a possible relocation, I've come across this lodge further south. Wow...looks beautiful and have never heard of it. Has anyone ever visited there? Might be a nice place to stay if we visit soon to take a closer look.

Big cedar lodge is an awesome place to stay. I would stay there for sure. Also yes, johnny Morris owns it...the man who also owns bass pro. It is about 10/15 minutes south of Branson on the state line.

I go there on Thanksgivings every few years. Look on ebay, there's a lot of time share folks there that put their week(end) up on ebay to get some of the costs back each year
