It's been a while since timesharing in Branson .We took in various shows topped off by one of the few
remaining Andy Williams shows which brought my wife to tears of joy especially hearing "Moon
River ". The food was great and Jason Yeager performed at our table ( he was cut from American Idol)
but to us he and his CD still is enjoyed. The mall down the street was really neat . Our highlight was
meeting JimbBakker and his former host Kevin Shorey . Morningside was a skip and a hop down
the highway by Table Rock Lake and Blue Eye is now a preppers destination and religious TV show with guests that are authors and both women and men of God. The emergency foods out price the entire industry althoughb we consider other sources like Wise and Emergency Essentials.

Default Branson IS Blessed With Many Venues

Yes it is, but I wouldn't say that Jim Bakker's venue with the paranoia it promulgates is one of them.

openmike, may I hijack your thread? I was going to start a new one, but maybe I can just ask here.

An adult friend thinks she will be bored if her family goes to Branson for vacation. Please tell me some things I can relay to her regarding entertainment. I think she plans to go in the fall, and I would love to tag along, but we'll see how that pans out. Thanks for any info!

there is pretty much something for everyone in Branson. There are a variety of shows -- not just country or bluegrass.
There is shopping, fishing, sporting clays, boating...AND Silver Dollar City. Big Cedar Lodge is a short drive down the Lake and there are State Parks in the area as well.
I like staying at Branson landing and the restaurants there (Cantina Laredo esp) are nice.
