Likely moving to the area, and will likely be in Carl Junction or Webb City.

There isn't much information comparing the two.

Which has better schools? Better community..etc..?

Carl Junction has a flat rate internet only company with no data cap, which is kind of cool. For some reason that doesn't extend to Webb City.

Are the other utilities comparable?

It seems like the likely have more similarities than differences. Which do you prefer and why?

Webb City is really merged into Joplin anymore. Carl Junction is more separate. Webb City has very good high school sports teams. Both have good schools. Have not been in CJ for a few years, Webb has some really run down neighborhoods.

Thank you for the reply.

I'll be going down to look around at some point - but just trying to get an idea of day to day life. Things like cable, trash, parks, general culture of each town..etc. It's hard to tell via websites, but Carl Junction seems a bit more community oriented. I've read a bit about the Briarbrook area, it looks like an interesting little community.

Webb city is obsessed with high school football.

That's okay. They seem to have a pretty good team! I don't mind a football obsession, it's nice to have something for the community to get behind.

But again - I'm looking more for how the two towns compare with the basic life stuff. Are the schools in both towns pretty equal, or is one town clearly a better choice? Water, sewer, trash..etc. similar or some differences? It seems like they are pretty similar all around - but I was hoping to find some sort of key differences between the two that might make it a bit more clear where I should spend my time looking for homes.
