On a side note the Outback Restaurant had a issue with a fire recently and is closed down until further notice. Not sure about the Pub or not.

We didnt make it to Outbacks or some of the other places, but had a really good time. Stayed at Hilton on Landing so did Ernie Biggs, Waxy O Sheas, and then Bar Louie for the Memphis Tigers game. Bar Louie had really great food. The nachos were wonderful. Also heard that McFarlands was good place to eat but we didnt make it. Saw Six and really enjoyed this show. Also ate lunch at French Hen on Hwy 248 I believe. Ate at Denny's with one of the Platter members but I think he takes all the women there! Very nice crew. LOVE Branson! Everyone was soooo nice.

I always notice that too. The servers at restaurants and like the ones working at shows or Silver Dollar City just seem tickled to death to help you.

Speaking as someone that was in the industry for 10 years, it allllllllllll depends. Some people I really enjoyed, some people I would've stabbed repeatedly with an olive fork.

The main pet peeve for most waiters/waitresses is the "Well I have a show and I need to get to it!" attitude.

1. Of course you have a show, that's what this town is built around.
2. The 300-odd other people in the restaurant probably have shows as well.
3. Coming in 20 minutes before your show is your fault, not the waiters.

Not to rant and rave, but this is a peeve of mine.

I can relate!! Most people are not ready for the traffic issues and are always behind! Tends to make them grumpy. Especially the bus tours! They run them through the buffets like cattle and they just get so worn out...

My dh wrote a song for Branson, to the tune of Blue Eyes Crying in the rain-
He calls it-

A LARGE scoop of coffee-flavored ice cream, covered with brown sugar coated corn flakes, then deep fried to a chewy shell . Drizzled with a rich, thin chocolate syrup and accented with whipped cream swirls. Heaven on a plate, and so far only found at the Outback Restaurant in Branson!
