It was not enough to do any sledding but of course, the kids don't even have a sled ...yet!!! Wife and I got them one for Christmas. I hope that we don't have to give it to them before the day. They were out playing in it when it came down, before church. I never saw them as happy as they were when they saw that it was snowing. I was thankful that it didn't mess up the roads any but we were only going to church and back. Our church had the hanging of the greens for the first day of Advent. It was a very nice day, as we had soup/chili and sandwishes after service and before decorating the church for the holiday. The people at our new church seem to be very accepting and really don't question people at all. They are a wonderful group. We are going to become members there next week.

APJ, you'll be pleased to note that the persimmon seeds and the wooly worms both point to plenty of snow and cold this winter. This is Ozarks lore you'll learn if you pay attention.

Too bad "the hill" in Ozark doesn't let kids sled anymore, same with the old range on 160 right as you get in to Springfield..some good memories there
