Ok between being in the Branson,Springfield area and the Internet it is not uncommon to run into celebrities.

Ok I met one from Branson, took him hunting. He said if I wanted to go see his show contact him and I would get the VIP treatment.Well I had seen his show before, liked it and had a very good time. Some how it just wouldn't seem right just because I know him and it would feel like I was taking advantage of him. We're still friends and talk once or twice a month.

Ok another celebrity found myself with him for a week camping. At the end of the week I asked if I could have his autograph.Ok was I wrong? I know it felt awkward. It was like him going from Common Person to Celebrity I don't know maybe he would have preferred to be a Common Person to me.

I don't know...Southwest Missouri seems to be a big area where some celebrities came from...Dennis Weaver and Brad Pitt just to name a few.

I don't think the person who offered show tickets would have felt taken advantage of. I'm not a celebrity but I have been in show biz off and on. It's always better to have more folks in the audience than fewer, whether they paid or not. Somehow just makes for a better show. Right brained folks aren't usually solely concerned with the bottom line.
As far as the autograph thing. Why don't you just ask how he feels about it? That's what friends do. : ) I wouldn't sweat it. You seem like a pretty cool guy to me. LOL.

The only person I consider to be a celebrity in Branson is Andy Williams, and I cannot picture him hunting or camping.

My definition of a celebrity is someone they would recognize on the streets of Moscow. Sorry Shoji.

Well even the local newsperson can be a local celebrity. I don't think anyone said anything about mega-stars. But if we were to go there, I'm old enough to remember that quite a few Branson celebrities had some very impressive careers in their day. Mickey Gilley, Jim Stafford and Yakov to name a few. And I do think maybe they would know Yakov on the streets of Moscow.
As far as hunting and fishing. Why wouldn't they? Is that in the rule book? Tim Curry (not to be confused with his transvestite character in Rocky Horror Picture Show) LOVES to go to Arkansas every year to fish.
People are just people darlin'!

This is true he isn't a Mega Star but does put on a good show.this is like I know several in the hunting industry they are on T.V. couple times a week but their not Mega Stars.Knew one woman back when she was 18,before she was a Mega Star which she is now.

Oh well I'm sure he won't say much if I tell him thing is.One other thing he hasn't changed his show since we seen it.Ofcourse they figure most people won't see them but once or twice.
