Is anyone able to recommend a professional who does radon testing for homes, in the Bolivar and surrounding area? If so, post or send me a DM. Thanks.

Did you find anyone? This is something I've been thinking about having done too after reading about radon and Missouri. Especially after my bout with BC.

Default Radon test

If you already own your home you can get a do it yourself radon kit from a hardware store and mail it in for results then decide what you want to do.
When buying a home have someone who does radon mitigation perform the test so if the levels are high he can also quote what it will cost to lower radon levels, that should be negotiated in your purchase price.
My radon fix ran $2500 but the previous owners paid it.

I found 2 in our area. I ended up using B&R Home Inspection out of Bolivar. They charged $75 and were very fast, very courteous. The other one I checked out was in Springfield; they are nationally certified, but wanted over $300. I've gotten radon tests before in other areas, and that is an outrageous price.

The MO Dept of Health and Senior Services will send you a test kit for free. You can reach them at:
