Today I was down at the Landing filling out applications and I walked by the South entrance to Bass Pro. I noticed that there was a VERY lifelike dummy there poised in a position that would indicate that he was fishing in the man-made creek just outside the entrance.

It was a very lifelike dummy, like I said. For a minute or two I even thought that maybe they had hired one of those "living mannequins" that you hear about that stay perfectly still, pretending to be a mannequin and then they suddenly move. It wasn't until I looked very, very closely that I saw that it was not a living person, but just a very cleaver and realistic looking dummy.

It occurred to me that maybe Bass Pro had finally done it. Just like all the raccoons, deer, bear, foxes, coyotes, pumas and other creatures that grace the interior and exterior of their stores.....maybe they had finally done it.

Stuffed a human.

Cute.

I'd like to have one with an orange vest or game warden outfit to keep trespasser's guessing during deer season.
