I think I only saw a few non denominational Christian churches in the St George area. Does anyone know the membership numbers of these churches?

Default I am sure

I do not live in the area but want to pass this on.

Non Mormons are welcome. The days of the hard sell are over, IMO. You will find yourself in an absolutely unique area. No one smokes, some drink a beer of two. The girls at BYU often had a beer in the fridge. When I ask on why, she said it was for her hair.

I am a social Mormon. I just had hard time with the basic beliefs but just love the social network. If one were to live as LDS and add 7th Day folks you will live to 100.

Use Google map. I am using Zillow to find a home and they note churches. I see here there is a Lutheran.
At BYU, there was a Community church that was active. And if there, everywhere.

After your initial surprise not seeing so many nonalcoholic, LDSism will not be an issue.

Others here will disagree and that's OK. That is my experience , of over 74 years.

What will happen is someone will ask you if you are a LDS member.

You say no and the subject changes. You asked for numbers. Google and email.

If you are new to this subject, there are more important questions ie job bias. GL

As far as Christian churches you have the St George Catholic Church, most of the region has Catholic names to it like the Virgin River, Fr Escalante, St George etc The locals are clueless though. Be aware that on every corner there is a mormon church, it's kinda obligatory in Utah that every new neighborhood has one of these basketball court/churches. Uh there are baptist churches, some fringe churches but I never went to those. Numbers would be fairly low I would think but it's certainly changing with the growth of the city and region in general. The exception would be the Catholics, the church is fairly decent amount of people especially hispanics, caucasians tend to be older because of the high retiree population in STG. It's not like colorado texas etc where there are a babel of christian oriented churches though. JW's have been known to go door to door, mormons tend to send letters to "hold outs" but if you request it they will do door to door. They're so much the majority that really they get after you at work and in other social settings without the need for door to door like in other places.

Scroll down right past the bright RED and BLUE political graph and you should see the demographics of religious adherents.

Lots of white people and low crime. Better than a leftist dystopia
