Carbon fiber gauntlets? That can poke holes in glass and steel? I'm probably way off, but I picture Mad Max on a 10 speed here.

So do you find that destruction of property teaches people to drive safely around bikers, or do you just do it because it makes you feel better?

And before you go nuts and use your carbon fiber gauntlets to destroy your monitor, I feel I should say that I agree that people should be more careful around bicyclists.

Try driving with a restricted license, like MANY PEOPLE HAVE.
Which means you can only go 45 mph... MAX That really sucks.
If you go faster & get caught, then you get a ticket with a higher fine or your license taken away.
No night driving either. Some aren't allowwed to drive on a major highway.
Some people have to do this.
Nothing is worse than losing all your independence. It's terrible

.
In that case, you should really remain off the Interstate/Expressways and take side streets for your commute. Driving excessively slow is just as dangerous as driving excessively fast in congested metro areas.

What exactly do you have to do to have a 45 MPH restriction? I got nailed near Topeka going 107 MPH and all I did was write a check to the county tools.

Not quite. Do the words "Thug Life" bear any relevance or clarity?

I-44 and Jamieson is not a rough area at all unless you're the type to consider Barry Manilow to be edgy hard rock. But I dunno, maybe even Zombie Tupac likes frozen custard.

I've driven that way countless times and never had a problem. Some people feel threatened on a forum. Who knows.

People in this city who are self-destructive enough to obey the speed limit don't survive long here.

Which explains the disproportiante number of cemeteries in this city!

Believe me... I NEVER drive the highways.: eek:
I ALWAYS take the back roads. Luckily I live in the country & don't have to deal with highway driving. I let the Hubby do that.

Having no peripheral vision limts you. Even if you have tunnel vision & can see 20/30.

Theres a lot of people into this rage thing. You just never know what the other person on the road is dealing with.

I'm finally back after going to Best Buy to purchase another monitor, after my gauntlets went through the previous one. Was more joke than anything else, but the thought of taking a mirror off a car has crossed my mind a few times....And my cycle has a motor strapped in it's chassis, hence the gauntlets. Can't be to safe out there in the world of mad max!

I meant the PERPETRATORS were of the "Thug Life" demographic and not going to Ted Drewes; I was NOT referring to the area near Jamison/I-44 as "Thug Life." I know the area near Jamison/I-44 is not rough.
