What is the farthest North and West (or Northwest) points of the Metro? I need to plan a trip to a part of the state (Lincoln Co) not covered on the bus but I can't seem to figure out how close the Metro can get me...Ive looked at their website but I am not from here so I don't know what I'm looking at. Any help is appreciated!!

Lambert Airport.

You can always go to maps.google.com and use their trip planner -- all the schedules are built in.

I know that, but I don't know where those places are, so it's difficult to figure out. Is Lambert Airport the most norterly or westernly? (Or both?)

From what I've been able to figure out online, your original answer is wrong. The metro also goes to Chesterfield, which is further out than Lambert (where I've been to). I wonder if it goes past Chesterfield.

^ it doesn't go to Chesterfield. I think those are future plans.

The furthest North it goes is Lambert. The furthest West it goes is Brentwood (by the Galleria), then is goes South to Shrewsbury

The furthest the Metrolink goes is Lambert. Metrobus goes further into West County and North County

Hmm...so how do you distinguish between what's current and what's future? On their website, Chesterfield is listed as a stop.

Edit--Also, where is Earth City? The map shows that listed as well...so confusing. I appreciate your help!

I think there is some confusion about the word "Metro". The entire St Louis mass transit system is called Metro, and that includes Metro busses and the MetroLink light rail system. Usually when one adds the word "the" in front of "Metro", they are referring to the light rail system. As in, "Are you going to take The Metro to the game?"
The Metro runs from Lambert's west terminal (westernmost stop) to Scott AFB (easternmost stop), aka Shiloh-Scott. This is a distance of 38.5 miles. The Lambert west station is also the northernmost station.

Earth City is an unincorporated business park located west of Bridgeton, along I-70 near the Blanchette Bridge.

@donathancr Wow this is confusing... Can you not easily pull up Metro Transit and look at the map? Chesterfield and Earth City are easily identifiable on the map. It will look like this.
