Going on a road trip tomorrow, but we only have time for a few hours in St. Louis. Based on some quick research, I found:
  • Cathedral Basilica
  • Forest Park
  • Citypark
  • Blues Cafe Deli (open to suggestions!)
  • ...and obviously the Gateway Arch

The kicker is that we'll have a dog with us, so no museums or anything like that....unfortunately.

Any help is appreciated!

BONUS: Any suggestions for good skyline photography are needed!

3-4 hours? Forest Park. Find a place to park and go for an hour or two walk. Will be nice to stretch your legs and much of the park is very scenic...try to park close to the Grand Basin as it's kind of the center of the park.

If you're hungry go south on Macklind get lunch on the Hill. It's an old school Italian neighborhood with a ton of great delis. My fav is Gioias, which is on Macklind across the street from Yogi Berra Park. They have outdoor seating or you could eat at the park so the dog won't be by itself for long.

With only an hour or so left I think you should go north back towards Forest park and drive east on Lindell and check out the Cathedral Basilica. Very pretty and you can go inside and take a look. Then continue east on Lindell into downtown and park downtown near CityGarden (8th and Market) and walk from there to the Arch grounds.
