How is there not a thread about this baseball team? It's like 2006 all over again. I am not the world's biggest baseball fan but this time is a blast to watch - and four wins away from another World Series Championship!

I think everyone's just been waiting/expecting us to get out of it shortly -- just like in 2006 actually. I couldn't be more excited!

And David Freese is my new best friend.

I'm not a Cards fan as I'm new to St. Louis, but I did go to quite a few games this season, and it's been fun. Wishing the Cards all the best in the series

I wish them the best! My parents used to take me to games when I was a kid every year. Go Cards!

I am so excited, long time Cards fan in Nashville! What are the chances of scoring a single ticket to game 6 without having to take out a second mortgage? I will be passing through on business on the 26th/27th and assuming there is a game 6 I am going to try my best to find a ticket!

I lived in Nashville for several years. Just moved out of Nashville last year, and now planning a move to STL next year.

One thing that bothered me is that the MLB considers Nashville in the Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves viewing area, although from what I could tell Nashville is Cardinals country!

I honestly wouldn't have thought it'd be that hard to get just one -- but I just looked at StubHub and prices are ridic. A scalper outside the game might be the better way to go, but obviously a lot more questionable because you can't plan ahead. Worst comes to worst, you can hang out at the bars with all us poor folk!

Well, we just signed up to get Dish Network installed. They're comin' tomorrow. We'll be watching the series from the comfort of our living room. The ticket prices are insane!!!

Wow! There were a bunch of tickets to last Wednesday and Fridays game on StubHub for around $50. I know its the World Series, but I didn't think tickets would go up that much... Do people actually pay $235+ for standing room only? Thats insane... With over 5,000 tickets available maybe people will come down on their prices closer to game time? I really doubt it, but a girl can dream...

Although tickets to Busch Stadium are cheaper then what people are trying to get for tickets at Ranger's Ballpark. And a lot more people in Texas are willing to part with their World Series Tickets. Almost 10,000 tickets for game 5. I'm thinking that says something good about Cardinal's fans. Or we have a lot less ticket brokers in St Louis?
