I have to go to St Louis again next Wed., to take my so to Shriners Hospital. Can anyone recommend a few hotels nearby that are inexpensive, & affordable? Will be for only one night, just want a safe, clean, inexpensive place not too far from the hospital. I'm not opposed to driving a bit, if I can get a good deal.
Thanks!

I can recommend all three of these. All are within a 10 min drive.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Galleria - Hotels by Hilton - Hotel Reservations, Deals, and Room Rates

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Brentwood - Hotel Rooms and Hotel Reservations from Marriott

Drury Inn and Suites Creve Coeur www.druryhotels.com

There are some pretty high end chains nearby that cater to the business crowd. Might want to check with Morton's, Fleming's, Ruth Chris, or McCormic and Shmitts. I don't remember a private room at Brio.

There is a fabulous local chain nearby called Lester's. I know their location in the Central West End has a private room. Technically a sports bar, Lester's has great food (Carnagie Deli, bbq, steaks) in a very high end setting. Your clients would also experience one of the most beautiful historic neighborhoods in the country.

^Definitely not spam; I think moorlander must've just posted this in the wrong thread.
