Ska- Maryland Heights is fantastic. I used to live there, and plan to again once I can afford to buy there I think that it would be a wonderful place to raise a family, and the Pattonville and Parkway School Districts are both good.

As others have said, I'm not too up to date on the Indian / Hindi community in St. Louis.

There is a new International Food Market in Hazelwood which is very well stocked with food products from all over the world International Food Market opens in Hazelwood : NOCO ~ The online magazine of North St. Louis County. It's in Hazelwood so only about 10-15 minutes from Maryland Heights. Additionally, there is a World Market in Brentwood (about 15 minutes away) which stocks some products and spices, but can get rather expensive.

I hope that you and your family LOVE it here! Best of luck with your move!

I do not know much more beyond that unfortunately. I think Indian families in apartments mostly move into the apartments south of that intersection which are located in the Parkway district (McKelvey Elementary/Parkway Northeast Middle/Parkway North High).

If you are planning to stay several years, purchasing a home is cheaper than renting in this area. We have a nice community in the unincorporated area south of Page Ave. 2 miles to Dorsett/McKelvey. Longish walk but very easy drive.

Priiya is AWESOME! They do some wonderful Vegetarian and Vegan dishes

I'll also agree with Marigold that Robinwood West is a lovely subdivision.
