There are many housing options in the area. In chesterfield a lot of new houses have gone up, including quite a few costing 1million plus. Many of the newer houses cost 400,000 but there 4 or 5 bedrooms. But there's definitely a lot of options. I would check out the Ellisville area 63011, a lot of affordable houses, there mostly older but there 1 and 2 story houses and area is great.

If your working in Chesterfield definitely live in the Chesterfield, Ellisville, Wildwood area. You can even explore some options of living on a couple acres in Wildwood, there's land available but many wealthy are buying it up and building so land is expensive.

Many Cardinal Baseball players live in the area-- Pujols, Carlos Beltran, and Mike Mathney I've seen quite a few times. All 3 have big houses in the area. Many wealthy, many middle class--a terrific area!!!!
i am looking into houses in master planned communities, seems west of chesterfield looks to me like urban and houses are so distant from each other.

Great to hear that you are making progress with planning your move. Another nice option might be Ballwin (near 141)- this would be an easy commute if you're working off the 141 / Woods Mill area in Chesterfield plus a great school district.
