There was an old thread from 2009 on this but could not find enough information . I have been getting lot of mix reviews about this place. Has anyone actually lived there, also what do you think about the complex and neighborhood from safety point of view.I am single male in late twenties and my job will be on Page Ave in Maryland Heights.

Here is the link to property website:

I've never lived there, but I probably wouldn't. Skinker at Delmar is vibrant and fun. Skinker at Page is not good, to put it mildly. Look at the blocks across Skinker from those lofts (Horton or Bartmer, for example) using Google street view, or look at the apartment complex at Etzel and Skinker. I guess I'd jog from there, but I'd stay on the main road (Skinker), I wouldn't jog at night, and I wouldn't walk or jog north of there either during the day or the night. If you like to go outside, you can do better.

^All that aside, Wash U has been pouring loads of money into that general area, so I would be surprised if that area doesn't see a dramatic level of improvement over the next decade.

Front Door St. Louis seems to have invested in a lot of up and coming areas. They have several properties in the Grove, and I have had friends that rented from and suggest them.

It does seems like a sketchy area from google street view. I will be in st louis around mid November, so i will personally visit this area before I sign a lease. Thanks for your help.
