Hello All. I know I have seen similar threads about needing a dependency waiver but I was wondering if if things have have changed as far as how hard it is to get thim since the last time the topic was brought up. I am married with three children and my husband is wanting to enlist but we know he would need a waiver. He has an associates degree and is a mechanic. We were wondering if he enlists for a 6 year contract and with his schooling would we possible get an approved waiver and start as possible an e3 after tech school? We dont have many bills other than his student loans which equal about 200 per month. I make a descent amount and I have the option to work from home of he can get in. Even if he does well on the asvab and meets all other qualifications do you think he has a fighting chance?

OP: I think you're better off posting this in the military forum for better help

Moderator- could you please move this to the military forum?

Good luck!
