We plan to move to St. Louis with two kids (K and 5th grade). We are considering houses in Marquette
or Lafeyette area or Parkway South. Originally we thought Lafeyette is the best among the three, however, after reading some parents' comments,
Which Rockwood Have You Experienced? | Rockwood School District Stakeholders

We are kind of unsure which school would fit our kids better since our elder one is kind of sensitive, weak
at sports and academically talented.

Many thanks for your inputs!

We lived in Chesterfield/Rockwood (Kehrs Mill/Chesterfield/ Marquette) for three years. I dont think that there would be a big difference between Marquette/Lafayette and their feeder patterns as far as one or the other being "better" . My guess is that Parkway South would be similar.
My suggestion is to tour the schools to get a feel for each one.

Have you researched the SAT/ACT scores for all three high schools? I know your kids are in elementary, but looking into the high school stats helps paint the picture.

Both districts have a gifted program. Chesterfield and West County have plenty of opportunities besides sports for your son.

Oh, Parkway South might be smaller school than Marquette or Lafayette.
