Hi! Does anyone happen to know if there is a neighborhood association or community organization specifically for the DeBaliviere Place neighborhood? I see there is one for Skinker DeBaliviere, but my Google search isn't bringing anything up for DP. I know it's pretty small and somewhat transient, so I'm wondering if it's just lumped into another neighborhood group? So far, the neighbors I've asked haven't been able to help. We are interested in meeting other home owners in the neighborhood and discussing urban planning projects, community improvement efforts, etc. Thanks!!

I am not aware of an such organization for the neighborhood. You might try and start one yourself.

DeBaliviere Place does utilize the services of Nextdoor.com.
Nextdoor.com is a free online services that allows neighbors to communicate with each other in a private setting.
Unlike facebook were anyone can be your friend. On our site you can only communicate with your real life neighbors. Nextdoor provides a forum for posting items of general interest; classified listings for buying, selling or giving away things; and a database for neighbor-recommended local services. Nextdoor’s interior pages are private, unlike those of some other neighborhood-themed Web sites. In a Nextdoor neighborhood, everything, including the directory of members, is visible only to fellow members, so marketers can’t vacuum up names and addresses. Nor does the information appear on search engine results. Nextdoor’s site provides a house-by-house map of neighbors who are members. Members can choose not to have their names attached to their addresses. To their addresses are verified, they can look at the map to see who else has joined. Public and private groups can be created on Nextdoor, the most popular are crime and safety. Download the app on android and itunes markets.
