not a lot of homes have that epic southwestern architecture even the newer ones... that home is lovely though. Again I will plug Wildwood, Chesterfield or Sunset Hills. Wildwood seems more rural to me many many parts. Chesterfield and Sunset Hills are very more Suburban and "soccer-mom-shop-till-you-drop-friendly"

& pretty darn perfect/in wrong state again! (we relocated to TX briefly after Overland Park, so that is why I know the real estate here so well) http://www.zillow.com/savedhomes/for..._zm/1_rs/1_fr/

I agree, IAMDWRECK! If that Overland Park KS home was outside St Louis, I'd buy it right away! I'll keep looking for sure. Have a little time.

Random- what is Creve Couer like?

Suburban, chain stores, high Jewish population, ranges from middle class to upper middle class.

I haven't seen most of the houses, as I usually only go there to shop and to the movies, but my parents used to own a store there so I just met a lot of people that way. If you find a house there you like, its certainly a good area to live in.

That will require the 270 drive to Fenton, so you are looking at a good 30 minute commute during rush hour.

For what it's worth, I moved from a great area in Orange County, california, to Wildwood.
I'm on five beautiful acres, in a house that is way too big lol.

I was dead set on finding a house similar to those I liked in California, mid century moderns, but they did not exist out here in the way I was used to, so had to really switch my tastes.

I love it out here in Wildwood, very quiet, lots of nature, yet still only 20 minutes from Saks if I need a shopping fix.
