My cat just barfed in my Ram's cap. That settles it, I'm officially done with that team.

Correct, but the statement has the scent of economic moral relativism, therefore while true it does not make it right.

The NFL screwed up in 93 in not awarding the expansion team to St. Louis. which set in motion this whole slow rolling disaster.

St. Louis will end up paying the price for their shortcomings.

but, we will always have that 99 team... that was amazing

St. Louis has the corporate money to support three major pro sports teams, including the NFL.

This was a situation where you have one of the top few owners in the league in terms of wealth, (thanks to his wife) that planned quietly and methodically for almost 30 years to move to L.A. In the end, for the other 31 owners and the league, it was all about money for them. This could have happened to many markets and teams. Very unfortunate. However, political, civic, and business leaders in St. Louis had past opportunities to secure an expansion team when St. Louis was an easy slam dunk choice. It was fumbled away. This was after fumbling away the opportunity to work something out with football Cardinal owner Bill Bidwill, who again was a bad owner but didn't want to leave as much as Kroenke. And then of course There was a terrible agreement made on the dome stadium lease, and the lack of forward thinking on the type of structure built. Thern there is the bad idea to not rebrand the Rams into a different name once they moved and start from scratch. So many things. Easy to make SK the scapegoat villain, and he deserves lots of blame. But, there is plenty to go around.
