Interesting.

So, what can St. Louis offer China?

Ambassador Zhou Wenzhong will attend a lunch at The World Trade Center Saint Louis with area businesses and civic leaders with a focus on what the bi-state region can offer China.
Funny, I just read yesterday in INC. Magazine (Nov. '07 issue) that the Chinese government is the number one threat to the U.S. for stealing our technology. Maybe that's why they're visiting us.

Rick beat me to it.

The Chinese are great at stealing secrets, like the former Soviets.

What can we sell them? Let's balance the trade, folks.

It'd nice and long overdue to increase St. Louis' miniscule East Asian and Southeast Asian populations and culture.

I have noticed fewer Asians in St. Louis than Kansas City, which surprised me. My So and I grew up in relatively comparable areas of KC and STL and his school had maybe 2-5% Asians, whereas mine had... 2-5 kids!

My high school is like 250 kids and there's 2 half-Koreans, a black kid, and 3 half-Mexicans.
