Such dating is accepted by some and not accepted by others, just like every other place on the planet.

STL is very racially diverse and accepting. I have never had a problem there.

Lived in Southhampton 2009-2014, STL has some of the most narrow-minded, racist people I've ever met.
You'll be OK but learn to ignore the stares and don't dumb yourself down by engaging in useless lowbrow conversation about race with the natives.

Nobody cares in 2016 almost anywhere in the country, including St Louis. I am a different race than both my wife and my daughter and have never once noticed anyone even looking at us strangely.

No one bats and eye at us, several other interracial families in our circle. I would personally stay away from some areas as a place to live but find most to be perfectly fine. (and ignore our annoying little troll)

It all depends.

Everyone in my circle is in an interacial relationship and I hear no complaints. But there again they aren't complainers.

I personally would avoid living in areas that are 80 and 90% one race. Older natives tend to be more narrow minded.

True, STL has racists just like anywhere. Being half middle eastern, I always feel welcome in STL.
I do have a black colleague who I consult with in STL who cannot stand it and cannot wait to get out (but it is hard since it is so cheap and he makes a TON of money). He explains in STL, if you are black, they assume you are ghetto and violent. Seems like a gross stereotype to me.
