I am pro-420 and will be the first to tell you - Missouri will be among the LAST states (Bible Belt here my friend, where marijuana is the DEVIL but overeating crap fried food and swilling cheap beer are OK) to legalize marijuana. Source: I lived in Kirkwood for three years and heard 100 percent ignorant comments about legalizing marijuana (STL tends to have a knee-jerk, reactionary approach to outside-the-box thinking, hence its stagnancy compared to many other cities).

I would live in South St. Louis City, there are a few safe areas that are somewhat progressive and generally, the STL City Police (God Bless them and keep them safe in a dangerous and thankless job) will not make a fuss about a modicum of cannabis. Just don't act like a tool with it like many did at Mardi Gras.

Yeah, I see what you're saying and it gets me ta thinking thoughts like these: Alcohol is OK ta swig in a bar and then drive home? Well, no we don't allow driving while drinking in American cities and country areas, either. Well, what really happens in real life? You bet. People swig 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 + alcoholic beverages at bars and then hop in to their vehicles and drive somewhere else. Maybe they'll try to at least drive home and safely get theirselves there and safely park their car.

And tobacco nation? Don't get me started. Marijuana consumption? Well...medicinally the benefits are more than proven. I think that medicinally and possible usage outside of medicinal use should be all right. I am a little concerned with people's driving skills after smoking strong amounts of marijuana. Slowed-down driving has been experienced and bad judgement skills have been used while making driving decisions. IOW's - the jury is still out on marijuana smoking and driving. And lung damage. So you can just eat it in brownies, you might say? Well, yes you can. That would be the best choice for consuming marijuana.

And banning alcohol in America? Ha - you guys know what happened the last time that notion was put into practice and...attempted.

Instead of all this, how about some nice Hodak's Fried Chicken, a St. Louis Legend?
