Ya. It's snowing in St. Louis tonight, and in August it can get into the 90s.

But at least it's not boring.

Chitown...excellent point about the weather! Patrick, don't hold July and August against us! Also Patrick, you really don't HAVE to go 2 - 3 hours outside of St. Louis to find outdoor activities. As mentioned, Forest Park is a gem plus there are a lot of bicycle organizations that put together all kinds of rides. One that I found took people on a tour of the hood! How cool would that be? For people to see a part of St. Louis that they would probably never have the opportunity to otherwise.

Another ride that I came across goes from winery to winery. I bet that if you looked, you could even find one that goes from bar to bar....if you can't find that one, drop me a note and let's organize it! ;-)

In my humble opinion, I think you should consider what you will be doing more;
will you be spending more time at bars, restaurants, and a job in the city, or time...exploring caves?

If you want to make a living, I would assume the previous, so I would say move to St. Louis.

Bobster I must protest! Bicycles and booze are a lethal combo... at least for me (and I have some experience in this matter!)
