Hello,
I apologize if this question is in the wrong forum.

My friend has a communications major and has been doing sales for a long time and recently as she was helping out a friend remodel/flip a house she got interested in being a real estate agent.

She currently resides in St Louis (city), MO and asked me if I could help her find a good school where she can learn how to become a real estate agent and get her license as well.

I apologize for the misuse of the terminology. We both did a quick search and there are several real estate places in St Louis, some of them have great reviews but these might be from customers.

Any guidance is much appreciated. Also, on average how much are these schools and how much is the license/test?

Some real estate companies offer their own schooling to become certified/licensed, and have a job waiting for you.

I believe Coldwell Banker has a spot like this in STL. Might be worth a look

Just to be clear, real estate schools don't teach you how to be a real estate agent or run a profitable real estate business. They teach you how to pass the real estate exam.

Most brokers will cover the cost of your classes, either up front or reimbursed. Cost will be $500-600 or less, depending on the company. I highly recommend in-person classes instead of online if possible.

But here's the catch.....it may be cheap and easy to get a real estate license but running a real estate business is anything but. There's a reason why more than 80% of real estate agents fail within the first 2 years. I'm proud to be in year 7 and doing quite well but I have worked VERY hard to get here and I generally log 10-12 hours a day, 6-7 days a week.
