I didn't actually see the meteor, as I was inside. BUT I heard it, and sitting in my family room, saw that the night sky lit up for a couple of seconds.

At first, because I heard it first, I thought maybe it was earth quake. But then, with the light flash, I thought maybe fireworks, and THEN I thought maybe something more sinister. (Like an explosion or a house fire...something like that.
