Yes. I don't buy their story that "nobody told them to quarantine themselves". I think it's a lie.

No. They were entitled idiots but this wasn’t a self quarantine under force of law. They will pay a social price but it is also extremely unlikely that they spread anything. As of now the rest of the family is still healthy and this is spread most easily when actually sick.

If other members of the family DID get sick...would we be told? I've been wondering about that.


However, seeing as the number of new cases hasn't increased for the St. Louis area, it seems likely their foolishness did no harm.


I keep thinking that if the name of the family would be reported, we might be familiar with the name. Like if it was the Schlaflys or the Buschs.

You wouldn't be. Just regular old upper middle class family. Enough people know their name that they were getting threats though. Things can be taken too far.
