Is something going on in St Louis today that makes it hard to get a cab? I try to avoid such times but I seem to still have problems keeping informed so I can plan. They tell me the best times to call and I do but it does not work. Thanks. Hazel

See if you can call to set an appointment with County Yellow. Uber is probably surging beyond reason. Its a good time for the city but this is one of the busiest weekends we've had in a while.

Thank you but busy why? That was what I was asking because if there was a ball game or a parade or some such, I would have just given up and stopped calling. But I asked the dispatcher and he didn't give any reason. So, I kept on with no results. Finally gave up.
No need to know now anyway. Finally made it this morning. Now they can play all day. I have nowhere to go.

That explains it. They won't tell because they fear you'll call someone else and they'll lose a customer. Works the opposite with me. No fun standing a t a door for an hour or more when they know no one is coming.
Dealing with life is a challeng and I am not sure I am up to the challenge any more.
