Relocating to St. Louis area in the next year. Narrowing it down to Fenton, Eureka, and Ballwin for now. Commute will be to downtown, so Fenton looks closest...
Is there a certain zip-code in Fenton that is in the Rockwood school district? It seems like some of it is Rockwood and some is Northwest? How does Northwest compare to Rockwood?
Looking for new construction 300K or less. Are we dreaming?
I don't think you can really go by zip codes as some zip codes include multiple school district. Example: 63011 includes Parkway and Rockwood. Here is a link to subdivisions that are included in Rockwood's districts. Remember that this includes all Rockwood. What you're looking for in Fenton would be Rockwood Summit (still part of Rockwood).
i had friends that taught in northwest school district...if you are comparing it to rockwood...it's not even close...everything considered...ROCKWOOD WAY TO GO. in fenton area make sure you are in st.louis county..not jefferson...and parts of fenton are even in lindbergh school district. 300k for new construction...maybe..have not been really up on new construction but you can really have a pick of some really nice property in that 225k up to 300k...housing sales have been slow and property values have dropped...so good bargains.
parts of fenton are even in lindbergh school district
Which is also a very good district. I think Lindbergh HS made the top 1000 list recently in Forbes? along with all 4 Rockwood HS, Metro, Clayton and Ladue. Not one Parkway which was kind of a bummer since my kids all go to Parkway, but I disgress.
It's true Lindbergh is a very good school district- I think it's only because of it's small size that it doesn't have the reputation of Rockwood or Parkway
