Does anyone from this blog live in Afton? I moved to Park Forest Apartments 2 weeks ago from Iowa. I like the place so far. However, is there anything I should be concerned about? Any comment would be helpful

Affton is fine (and it does have 2 Fs btw) - it's the opposite of diverse, which would bother me over the long term.

I kind of like to be in a community with less minority - that's just what I am used to living in Iowa. I am not white, I figure if I lived in Affton I can slowly transition into places with more minorities and see if I actually enjoy the city life at all.

Well I didn't necessarily just mean black people when I said diversity.
There's a lack of any minorities as well as a lack of ages (it skews older than much of the st. louis area), economic diversity and sexual preference diversity.
