Default City Population: 355,663

The federal Census Bureau has advised me that they have changed their most recent estimate of the City’s population upward to 355,663 from 350,759.

An extra 5,000 people. Cool.

Could you imagine what would happen to the population if something would be done about the city schools?

It's a bump of 5,000, but it's a bump of 7,000 since 2000.

It's important to note that population is not always the most accurate indicator of gentrification and revitalization however.

Think about all of the homes in Tower Grove South or similar where multi-family units have been converted back to single family homes. A lot of DINKs (Dual income, no kids) live in those big old houses where 8 people or more may have used to live.

But either way, I'm still excited to see this.

Very true. They're usually wrong. i know before the last census they estimated that Chicago had lost people, but when they actually did the thing, Chicago had in fact gained people.

How is the end result any different than just implanting donor eggs?
