May is the beginning of the best weather in the middle of the state. Then June. August usually starts getting a little humid. September and October are darn nice also. Of course, we like the 4 seasons, so really can't complain. We know what to expect. Right now, it is snowing and yep, it's January and we expect this.

I wouldn't say July...perhaps April? I LOVED last Summer, it was very mild and only had a couple of weeks of miserable humidity. I don't care who you are or how long you've lived here, I don't think you ever get used to it!

April and October...2 weeks of perfect 70 degree spring weather, and another couple weeks of non-humidity before it starts to get really cold. That's about it. :-P

October has temps like June but the least amount of average precip so that's a solid bet, but honestly I just adore May.

I'll take St. Louis weather May through September any time. It can get pretty hot and humid in parts of July and August.
