I'm in Creve Coeur and looking to get downtown. I'm trying to find out where the nearest Metrolink station is (not bus). I just wanna drive my car there and leave it for the night. Thanks in advance!

djkkt6,

The closest Metrolink station to Creve Coeur is in Clayton, near the Forest Park Parkway. However, while you MAY be safe on the train, if it were me, I would not leave my car there overnight. I would MAYBE leave my car at the Shrewsbury Metrolink station (near Landsdowne/I-44). I would also consider arming yourself if taking the Metrolink at night.

The Clayton Metro parking lot is a paid lot. If you want to park for free you should use Shrewsbury or Brentwood. I personally use the Brentwood garage off I-64 between Brentwood & Hanley and find that garage 100% perfectly safe, but I have never used it over night. And the only time I have ridden it at night has been before/after sporting events when it was packed and perfectly safe (as long as you are not claustrophobic).
