My first dry cleaning bill in the area was over $80 dollars! Is there a good dry cleaner that doesn't charge $3 bucks a garmet? Please help!

I go to American Cleaners, which is an area chain. They circulate coupons and if you don't use them you get the shaft. They have bumped their coupon prices up a bit lately. With coupons I pay $1.20-$1.40 per shirt, $2.99 for a pair of slacks or a sweater. Miscellany (skirts, dresses, and things like that ("any plain garment") are $3.69 on the latest coupon packet I got in the mail. If you don't use the coupons though it is much more expensive. I think it is the kind of thing where you have to shop around. In my neghborhood, there is a place called Marquards which is pretty nice and the service is great, but I used it once and only once because it was much more expensive. Using American Cleaners, I have probably had two unexplained (and unapologetic) burns on a shirt in 5 years, which is a good enough track record for me. If I was going to take in a nice suit to get cleaned, though, I would probably go to the nicest place possible, like the Marquards place I described.

Try Dry Clean Spot in Brentwood or Manchester. They do a great job and their everyday price is $2.50. Always have coupons in Money Mailer. If you don't get them, go to moneymailerstlouis.com. I always download so I can use every week.
