Greetings everybody,

If anybody knows, may I ask what the driving time is from St. Charles to Arsenal & Broadway in St. Louis?

This would not be a permanent commute. Rather, it would be for about 1 or 2 months. The inbound departure time would typically be between 6am and 7am and the return-time around 4pm.

Also, the house I'd be temporarily living at in St. Charles is a bit over one mile from Route 94 and I-70 (and it's about a half a mile from Routes 94 & 364).

Google maps shows the drive as about 27 miles in length, but I'm wondering how "rough" of a 27-mile drive this would be during weekday mornings.

Thanks for any insights!

SC09 is probably right about on -- i answered your DM but I'll mention it again for anyone else who might be looking -- from St. Charles into the city I-70 just isn't too bad. It's busy because of a lot of St. Charles residents heading up to work at Lambert or Boeing, but major back ups seem rare. West of St. Charles is a whole other story.

Thank you both Aragx6 and SouthCity09. Aragx6, I didn't read your response before sending you another DM, so I'll repeat that here:

Looking at the map, I can see where 70 is a nice, direct shot. But the odd thing is another local told me I should avoid 70, and instead take the Page extension to 270 and then 270 down to either 64 or 44, and then take 64 or 44 into the city. (It was these kinds of conflicting opinions that prompted me to post this question to the forum.) But I sense the person who told me this does not seem to know St. Louis as well as you folks do (she's more of a pure suburbanite), so I'd be inclined to go with whatever route you recommend.

Thanks again everybody! :-)
