nbe - the "Touring and/or visiting St. Louis" thread is not necessarily meant for replies, but more for people that are interested to go to it for info. If they do or don't view it, I can't say, besides I do see the view hits increase on occasion.

IMHO, the option to have a subforum for St Chuck would not be convenient nor positive. We already have a real separation between St Louis proper and the county - we do not need such here. As stated above, wouldn't be of much benefit.

For those with desire, perform a search w/ in the forum for St Charles, etc. to help narrow down and/or find items of interest.

Okay that's three votes in favor.

Two votes against (from people in "St.Louis").

Come on St.Charles county people speak up. If not than we won't
get, or deserve our own sub-forum. You can continue clicking through
page after page of redundant St. Louis posts to find anything regarding
your area.

I could see your point if this forum was so busy you had to sift through 30 or so new threads a day. But seriously this forum averages like 3 or 4 new threads a day, if that so I don't really see why a St. Charles forum is needed when this one isn't even that busy. Moreover, many posts here involve the whole region (such as the near-daily "relocating to the area" threads). So you want those people to have to post in the St. Louis and St. Charles forum to get a full variety of opinions?

Finally, if you look at other city's forums (as I do regularly) you don't see seperate forums for suburbs of St. Louis-size cities, so what makes St. Charles different?

Thread closed - those in the greater St Louis metro area all get along, share this one wonderful forum, and realize for better [mostly, IMHO] or worse that we all be in this together... thanks.
