It's a pretty decent tv show. Start watching from episode one. Of course, only this one episode was about St. Louis, but it's still a good show. The opening shot of St. Louis in the episode was spectacular, IMO. I love the St. Louis Arch. I have a souvenir of the arch from my wife when she visited there a couple of years ago. Beautiful city.

Screen shot from the opening scene of the show...

Does St. Louis have an 83rd Precinct?

I guess St. Louis has precincts, though.

Neat that they set it in St. Louis, though. Nice opening shot there.

The street scenes do look a little bit like St. Louis, though.

Like most made fro TV projects, it is probably shot in Vancouver or Toronto, both of which can easily double almost any city in the states.

Des St. Louis have a viable film board? One that isn't star-struck by Hollywood? (which was VERY evident last summer/Fall /Spring when the Ton Hanks movie was shooting a few scenes out here). Its very easy dealing with production crews when you don't put them up on a pedestal - I have worked with many Film production crews, and
they are just working stiffs - like you and me - looking for the best deals.

Saint Louis is an inexpensive American city with locations that could easily pass for anywhere USA. There should be more films (Not in the "Escape From NY" genre) shot here.

Somebody should ask Pittsburgh and Wilmington, NC how its done.
