Hi Guys,

I never been to St. Louis but I may have to visit it. I'm just curious if there is a Chinatown in St. Louis. I might miss my food staying in St Louis too long

Thanks

In u-city, on Olive Blvd, just east of I-170. 2 or so miles of authentic chinese markets and restaurants. They aren't glam in the LEAST bit... but they are 100% authentic!! We went to one of the eateries down there and WOW. Don't remember the name, but on the South side of the road in an old movie theater. Be prepared, however, to have issues ordering if you don't speak CHinese. Very authentic...

I second was CarrieNeno said about Olive being the China town. St Louis has a lot of great food, you wont be disappointed. We have our own little Mexico on Cherokee street. The Hill has some of the best Italian food in the country. South Grand has any kind of food you can imagine (Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Afghani, Ethopian, International Food market) There is a Nicaraguan place on Jefferson called Frintaga that is definitely worth checking out. St Louis also has the largest Bosnian population in the US, most of their restaurants are located in the Bevo Mill area.

Thanks everyone. I definitely want to tour St. Louis and most of all I want to try St. Louis style pizza. But like everyone, I'll miss mom's cooking every once in a while. I heard St. Louis has some really good Italian food too.
