Hey everyone, I just signed a contract for a home in Fairview Heights. Can anyone recommend a good home inspector? I prefer to hire one that is not recommended by an agent, but one referred by a satisfied customer/home buyer. Thanks in advance!

Sorry... I don't have any referrals specific to the East side, though I would recommend that you ask for your Realtor's referral! We work with inspectors every day and know who the best are. I would also recommend that the Inspector be
ASHI certified. At least on the Missouri side, that is pretty much contractually required.

I have never used these folks, but I checked with my friends and they used Hamlin Home Inspection based out of O'Fallon. I just checked and they are also a member of NACHI(National Association of Certified Home Inspectors ).
