Same here in Arnold. The dampness getting to peoples bones, you ache all the time. I think I'd rather have the heat and humidity. Then just wait to hear me complain again. Too D--- HOT.

Never been in Seattle. Can't compare. I've Heard that NYC and Houston get more rain than Seattle. I guess Seattle is just constantly grey and dreary.

But all the time we were were in Southern California, my wife would keep on about how much she misses the rain...

Average Yearly Rainfall:

St. Louis: 37.51"
Seattle: 38.00"
Houston: 46.07"
New York: 47.25"

Seattle and St. Louis have nearly identical yearly rainfalls.

The huge difference is that Seattle is consistently drizzly and overcast for over half the year, while St. Louis receives huge thunderstorms throughout the spring, summer, and occasionally at other times over the year that can dump an inch or more of rain at a time. Each city gets about the same amount of rainfall, St. Louis just gets it in large, short doses while Seattle gets small doses over a long time.

And yes, this weather is not so much fun. This weekend will be clear and in the 50's, however.

[quote=Fishtacos;11365217]I've already pointed out Denver had far less success than the Rams in their first 20 years in Denver as the Rams have had in St. Louis. But what are facts?

Props, FT. You are definitely playing better defense than the Rams!

I've been to Seattle, they have better seafood.

But this month, it certainly feels like it. It's getting a bit old. Fall is my favorite time of year when I look forward to shirtsleeves and no heat. Bah!
