Looks like the sunshine has been pushed back to Saturday or Sunday.

It's rained for like a week straight. But tomorrow is supposed to be the last day, and Saturday through next week is supposed to be dry and in the 50s and 60s.

It's pouring rain tonight, and thundering a bit.

On the radar it looks like this storm system stretches from the Gulf Coast to Lake Superior, and Chicago seems to be getting hit hard tonight.

Today was absolutely perfect weather though... thank god. I think us in St. Louis really deserve a week or two of good weather after these dreadful and gloomy last two weeks.

yes ... yesterday was gorgeous.... sun, glorious sun....... and there is even some warmth in it......

my poor dogs have been bored out of their minds this past week or so.... my knee is injured, so none of our long walks for the past 3-1/2 weeks..... get 'em out yesterday and arnold city park is CLOSED.... apparently the meramec is going to rise high enough to flood the whole thing over the next couple of days.....not just bradley beach road as is more typical..... parked the car at the entrance, along with about 8-10 others, and walked them all the way to the back..... paying for it today, but was worth it..... will probably do the same thing this afternoon.......

Speaking of the rain... Yesterday, my dad and I went up to Tower Grove Park to walk around and were absolutely amazed by the flooding from the creeks. On the North side of the park was this gigantic "pond" about the size of a neighborhood block. It was huge and still pretty deep (probably around 6-9 inches in some areas), but this was over 28 hours removed from the last rainfall. At it's peak, the water depth must have been over a foot.
