We have two wells and recently got city water. I would never buy a house without city water. All it takes is one toilet leak and you are out of water until it fills back up. Two showers, 3 loads of laundry, and one load in the dishwasher and we would be tapped. This was with a deep well. The original well was too shallow and had sulfur water. We have friends in Pompey that have sulfur water and I don't know how anyone can live like that.

My BF loves NY state, but he also loves his guns. He is even more eager to get the hell out of here than I am now. Thanks NY!

He's better get his 10-round clips now, if he wants any... 7-round limit AND two clips MAX? Craziness. People better start practicing shooting under pressure because you'll only have 14 bullets at the ready and that will just have to do.

And just like that, gun owners are outlaws.
You can get more than 10-round clips outside of NY, so I guess he was an outlaw already.
He will have to spend even more time at the range if he has to reload after every 14 shots.

Is this something that is being considered nationwide or something being considered in NYS? I know Bloomberg is on a crusade to basically get rid of all guns. Once again, something that might work in NYC that just will NOT work Upstate. Hopefully, NYers will stand strong for their 2nd amendment rights and not let them get away with anything.

They already published the names of gun permit owners in some counties downstate (Westchester and Rockland, I believe) and then the pro-gun activists published the newspaper owners address and phone number ....what a mess down there.

NY State. Tough Gun Laws Come to New York State | WKBW News 7: News, Sports, Weather | Buffalo, NY | home

"Here are some of the key details. The law broadens the definition of assault rifles to include those that have flash suppressors, a pistol grip or any other military-style features. A new gun permit process will help the state better track gun owners. Ammunition magazines will be reduced from 10 to seven rounds."

Get to the store *today,* while it's still legal.

Here is a short clip during Cuomo's "State of the State" (pay close attention after 1 min when Andy get's especially fired up):
Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang - The Daily Beast

Cuomo is already getting primed for the 2016 Presidenital Election. The website obtained the video from Channel 3's live feed of the speech - you can tell by the graphics.
